Introduction
The MYCPE ONE CPE Wallet (the "Wallet") is a free record-keeping and compliance-tracking utility offered as part of the Platform. These CPE Wallet clauses are specific to the Wallet and apply in addition to the General Clauses, the Continuing Education Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy, and the Refund Policy. To the extent of any conflict, the General Clauses shall prevail unless these clauses expressly state otherwise.
Free Service & No Subscription
The Wallet is offered as a free service. No paid subscription, credit card, or payment commitment is required to access the core Wallet functionality. The Subscription, Billing, Auto-Renewal, and Refund provisions in the General Clauses do not apply to users who use only the Wallet. The Company makes no representation that the Wallet will remain free in perpetuity; see "Right to Modify or Discontinue the Wallet" below.
Compliance Responsibility
The Wallet is a record-keeping and tracking utility. It is not a licensing authority, accreditation body, regulatory authority, or compliance certifier.
- Storage, tracking, display, or summarisation of any course, certificate, or credit within the Wallet does not constitute approval, accreditation, or acceptance of that credit by any state board, governing body, or certifying authority.
- Users are solely responsible for verifying applicable CPE/CE requirements with the relevant state board or governing body, and for ensuring that the credits they track in the Wallet satisfy those requirements.
- The Company makes no representation, warranty, or guarantee that use of the Wallet will result in compliance with any licensing or continuing-education requirement.
Reminders & Notifications
The Wallet may provide reminders, alerts, deadline notifications, and progress updates as a convenience feature on a best-effort basis only.
- The Company does not guarantee the delivery, timing, accuracy, completeness, or receipt of any reminder or notification.
- Notifications may be delayed, missed, blocked, filtered as spam, or fail to send for reasons beyond the Company's control, including third-party email or device provider behaviour and user account settings.
- A missed, delayed, or undelivered notification does not transfer, reduce, or shift compliance responsibility to the Company. The user remains solely responsible for tracking and meeting all applicable reporting deadlines.
Certificate Storage
The Wallet allows users to upload and store CPE certificates and supporting documentation. Users retain ownership of all certificates, documents, and content they upload.
- The Company does not guarantee permanent storage, indefinite retention, or recovery of lost, corrupted, deleted, or inaccessible files.
- Users are strongly advised to maintain their own independent copies of all certificates and supporting documentation outside the Wallet.
- The Company shall not be liable for data loss, corruption, deletion, or inaccessibility, whether arising from system failure, third-party service interruption, user action, account closure, or any other cause.
External CPE Uploads & Email Forwarding
The Wallet allows users to upload certificates from third-party CPE providers and to forward completion emails to a dedicated Wallet inbox address (for example, yourname@cpe-wallet.mycpe.com) for automated extraction.
- By uploading external certificates or forwarding emails to the Wallet, the user authorises the Company to receive, scan, parse, process, and store the contents of those uploads and emails — including attachments, message body text, and associated metadata — for the purposes of credit extraction, organisation, compliance tracking, audit logging, service operation, and product improvement.
- Forwarded emails and their contents may be retained by the Company for the foregoing purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- The Company does not verify, validate, or guarantee the accuracy, authenticity, accreditation, validity, or acceptance of any external CPE record uploaded or forwarded to the Wallet.
- Users are responsible for reviewing every imported record, correcting any inaccuracies, and maintaining the original source documentation independent of the Wallet.
- Users must not forward emails containing client-confidential, privileged, or other sensitive third-party information to the Wallet inbox. The Company shall not be liable for any disclosure, exposure, or processing of such content forwarded by the user.
AI-Powered Data Extraction
The Wallet uses artificial intelligence and automated processing to extract information from uploaded certificates and forwarded emails, including provider names, credit hours, completion dates, subject areas, and credit categories.
- AI-extracted data may be inaccurate, incomplete, mis-categorised, or otherwise erroneous. The Company does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-extracted information.
- Users must review and verify every AI-extracted record before relying on it for any compliance, licensing, audit, employment, or professional purpose.
- AI outputs are informational only and do not constitute professional, legal, accounting, tax, or compliance advice.
- The Company may modify, update, or replace the underlying AI models, providers, or extraction methods at any time without notice.
External CPE Uploads & Email Forwarding
- Users may upload certificates or forward emails from third-party providers.
- MYCPE ONE does not verify or guarantee the accuracy, validity, accreditation, or acceptance of external CPE records.
- Automated extraction of credits, dates, or course information may contain errors.
- Users remain responsible for reviewing imported records and maintaining original documentation.
- Storage or tracking of a course does not constitute compliance approval or acceptance by a state board.
Subscription & Auto-Renewal
- Clearly define free versus paid features.
- Paid subscriptions may automatically renew until cancelled.
- Users must be informed of recurring billing and cancellation options.
- MYCPE ONE may modify pricing with reasonable notice.
Account Security
- Users are responsible for protecting login credentials.
- MYCPE ONE may suspend or terminate accounts for misuse, fraud, or violations of the Terms.
Self-Reported License Information
Users are required to enter information about their professional licenses, credentials, jurisdictions, and reporting cycles for the Wallet to track progress against applicable requirements.
- Users are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and currency of all license, credential, and jurisdictional information they enter.
- The Company does not independently verify the existence, validity, or status of any user-entered license or credential.
- Compliance progress, deadline calculations, and credit-category tracking depend entirely on the accuracy of user-entered information. Incorrect or outdated entries will produce incorrect results.
Audit-Ready Reports
The Wallet allows users to export their CPE history and supporting records in PDF, CSV, or similar formats.
- Exported reports are provided in standard formats for the user's convenience.
- The Company does not guarantee that any exported report will be accepted by any state board, regulatory authority, auditor, employer, or other third party in any specific format, presentation, or level of detail.
- Users remain solely responsible for ensuring that exported records meet the specific submission and substantiation requirements of their state board or other relevant authority.
Wallet Content Is Not Professional Advice
The Wallet may display information about state board rules, NASBA standards, ethics requirements, credit caps, format limits, reporting cycles, and similar regulatory content. All such information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, professional, accounting, tax, or compliance advice. Regulatory requirements change frequently; the Company makes no representation that displayed regulatory information is current, complete, or accurate as of any given date. Users should consult directly with their state board or qualified professional advisor before making any decision based on Wallet content.
Right to Modify or Discontinue the Wallet
Notwithstanding any references to "free," "free forever," or similar language in the Company's marketing or promotional materials, the Company reserves the right at any time, in its sole discretion, to:
- modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue the Wallet (in whole or in part) or any feature of the Wallet;
- introduce paid features, paid tiers, usage limits, or fees in respect of current or future features, with reasonable advance notice;
- change the underlying technology, integrations, or AI models without notice; and
- terminate, suspend, or restrict any user's access to the Wallet in accordance with the General Clauses.
Continued use of the Wallet following any such change constitutes acceptance of the change.
Fraudulent or Misleading Records
The Company reserves the right to review, reject, remove, flag, or investigate any record uploaded to or generated within the Wallet that appears suspicious, duplicate, incomplete, fraudulent, fabricated, or otherwise inconsistent with legitimate CPE activity. The Company may suspend or terminate any account that engages in or facilitates the upload, storage, or representation of fraudulent or misleading CPE records, and may report such activity to relevant state boards, regulatory authorities, or law enforcement where the Company considers it appropriate.
Limitation of Liability — Wallet-Specific
In addition to, and without limiting, the limitation of liability provisions in the General Clauses, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Company shall not be liable for: missed CPE/CE reporting deadlines; compliance deficiencies, license lapses, or denial of credential renewal; state board fines, penalties, sanctions, or disciplinary action; lost, corrupted, deleted, or inaccessible certificates or records; AI extraction errors, mis-classification, or omission; third-party CPE provider sync failures or data discrepancies; failure, delay, or non-delivery of reminders or notifications; or any reliance placed by the user on Wallet content, calculations, or outputs.
