Company provides benchmarking and survey reports tailored for CPA and accounting firms, covering key industry-related data, such as partner billing rates, average income per partner, revenue per employee, market trends, and other financial benchmarks. The data within these reports is sourced through voluntary contributions from firms that submit relevant business metrics. This data is aggregated and analyzed to generate insights and industry benchmarks. Company tracks information for over 5,000 accounting firms and compiles it into a structured format for informational purposes.
The benchmarking reports are made available for internal, non-commercial use only. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view and use the reports for internal reference. Redistribution, reproduction, publication, or resale of the reports, in whole or in part, is strictly prohibited without prior written consent from the Company.
Firms must provide certain business-related data, such as revenue figures, employee and partner compensation details, billing rates, profitability metrics, and operational information, to access and download benchmarking reports. By submitting such information, firms explicitly consent to the collection, processing, and use of their data for survey compilation, benchmarking analysis, and market research purposes. Company may aggregate and anonymize the data to develop industry insights; however, individual firm data will not be disclosed to third parties in an identifiable format without explicit consent.
Certain firm details that are publicly available—such as gross revenue, number of employees and partners, revenue per partner, revenue per employee, business locations, CEO name, and principal place of business—may be included in public reports. Confidential or proprietary information that is not generally accessible to the public will be handled in accordance with Company’s Privacy Policy and will not be disclosed without the submitting firm’s prior consent. The Company reserves the right to validate, analyze, and use submitted data to improve the accuracy and credibility of benchmarking reports.
Users may refer to or cite benchmarking findings externally only with proper attribution to the Company and a hyperlink to the original source (if applicable). Unauthorized citation or misrepresentation of data is prohibited.
Participation in benchmarking surveys conducted by the Company is entirely voluntary. By choosing to submit data, participating firms acknowledge and agree that the information they provide will be collected, analyzed, and aggregated for the purposes of generating industry benchmarking reports, research publications, and professional insights.
Submission of data does not create any contractual obligation between the participating firm and the Company, nor does it entitle the firm to any specific benefits or consideration beyond what is explicitly outlined in these Terms. Firms may choose to omit or decline to respond to any questions they deem sensitive, proprietary, or otherwise unsuitable for disclosure.
All submitted data is subject to the terms of the “Submission of Firm Information and Data Usage” and “Data Privacy and Confidentiality” clauses herein. Firms are encouraged to review these sections carefully to understand how their data will be used, aggregated, and protected.
By submitting data through our surveys, contribution forms, or data intake channels, participating firms grant the Company a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, and irrevocable license to:
Participating firms confirm that they have the authority to submit the data on behalf of their organization and to grant the Company the above license for research, benchmarking, and publication purposes.
Unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement, firms that participate in surveys or benchmarking submissions do so without expectation of financial compensation or other tangible benefits. The Company does not offer monetary rewards or incentives for data contributions.
The primary benefit to participants lies in access to aggregated benchmarks, comparative insights, and market trends derived from the collective data pool, aimed at supporting strategic decision-making and industry transparency.
Firms submitting data are expected to ensure that the information provided is accurate, current, and reflective of their actual operations. By participating, firms agree to submit data in good faith and acknowledge their role in contributing to the overall integrity and credibility of benchmarking insights.
The Company does not verify individual data entries and is not responsible for any distortions, inaccuracies, or misinterpretations that arise from incomplete, outdated, or erroneous submissions. Submissions that are found to be materially false or misleading may result in exclusion from future participation and reports.
The Company is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of firm-submitted data. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all individual firm data will be anonymized and aggregated for analytical use.
However, certain firm-level information—such as the name of the company, CEO or managing partner(s), total revenue, number of employees and partners, average revenue per partner or employee, business locations, and addresses—may be included in public benchmarking summaries and reports. This information supports the industry’s transparency goals and provides visibility to contributing firms within the professional community.
All other operational, financial, or survey-specific details that are not publicly available will be treated as confidential and will not be shared, disclosed, or attributed to any specific firm without explicit written consent. Confidential data is stored securely and may only be accessed by authorized personnel who are bound by strict confidentiality obligations.

The Company’s maximum liability concerning any inaccuracies in the reports is strictly limited to the amount paid (if any) for the report. No further claims, damages, or liabilities will be entertained.
The primary purpose of providing benchmarking reports is to enhance transparency within the accounting profession by offering data-driven industry insights. Benchmarking reports are made available to users through one of the following two access methods:
(a) Submission-Based Access:
Firms that submit required business and operational data—including but not limited to revenue figures, compensation structures, billing rates, and other firm-level metrics—may be granted access to benchmarking reports. Such access is provided in recognition of the firm’s contribution to the data pool used for generating industry-wide insights.
(b) Direct Purchase Access:
Benchmarking reports may also be obtained through direct purchase, without the need for firm data submission. Pricing and payment terms are outlined at the point of sale and may vary based on the scope, depth, or edition of the report.
By accessing the benchmarking reports through either method, the user agrees to use the reports solely for internal, non-commercial purposes, and in accordance with the restrictions and licensing terms outlined in these Terms. Redistribution, resale, or public disclosure of report content without prior written authorization from the Company is strictly prohibited.
The reports provided by Company are purely informational and should not be relied upon as a definitive assessment of industry performance. The data is based on voluntary survey responses, which may be subject to interpretation or variation. Company does not guarantee the accuracy, relevance, or applicability of any specific metric, and users should perform their own analysis before making business decisions. The Company is not liable for any business losses, competitive disadvantages, or financial decisions made based on benchmarking data.
Company is committed to protecting the confidentiality of firm-submitted data. Personal or firm-specific data will be processed in accordance with the Company Privacy Policy and will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties in an identifiable manner without explicit consent. Aggregated and anonymized data may be used in industry research, reports, and presentations. While Company employs reasonable security measures, no data transmission over the internet is entirely secure, and the Company does not guarantee absolute protection of submitted data.
Submitting firm information does not guarantee access to benchmarking reports. Company reserves the right to refuse report access if submitted data is incomplete, inconsistent, or otherwise unsuitable for inclusion in benchmarking analysis. Company is under no obligation to provide ongoing updates, modifications, or explanations regarding survey methodology or results. Firms should not expect continuous or personalized updates regarding their submissions.
The Company reserves the right to utilize anonymized and aggregated data and insights derived from benchmarking reports and survey submissions for inclusion in research studies, whitepapers, industry reports, marketing materials, academic publications, and media communications. Any such use will be conducted in a manner that does not identify any specific firm or individual, nor will any firm-specific or proprietary data be disclosed without the express prior written consent of the authorized representative of that firm.
The Company reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to revise or update the survey methodology, benchmark criteria, definitions, data modeling techniques, scoring mechanisms, or other components used in the generation of benchmarking reports. These modifications may be made for the purpose of enhancing accuracy, relevance, or alignment with evolving industry standards and practices. Such changes may apply prospectively and are not guaranteed to be applied retroactively to previously issued reports or analyses.
