Course Overview

In a connected workplace with all sorts of personalities, preferences, skills, and cultures, conflict is bound to arise.

People inherently do not like confrontation. 

Transparency and honesty can breed confrontation but that can be healthy confrontation – Lack of transparency and honesty breeds negative confrontation that is caused in many cases by miscommunication.

This CPE course will give participants a seven-step conflict resolution process which can be used and modified to resolve conflict disputes of any size. Participants of this continuing education course will also be provided a set of skills in solution building and finding common ground.

In the Conflict Management & Negotiation Skills CPE course, participants will learn crucial conflict management skills, including dealing with anger and using the Agreement Frame. Dealing with conflict is important for every organization no matter what the size. If left unchecked or unresolved, conflict can lead to lost production, absences, attrition, and even lawsuits.

Although people often think of boardrooms, suits, and million-dollar deals when they hear the word negotiation, the truth is that we negotiate all the time. Through this CPE webinar, participants will be able to understand the following key points:

Danny M. The instructor did not understand the material well. For example, he indicated that the ZOPA was the area between BATNA and WATNA. I think he thought BATNA was the best possible outcome. It is the best alternative, so you want to negotiate something better than that, otherwise it is better to take the alternative. He was also very unstructured in his dialogue and did not cover much actual material.
