"Even though the workplace has been changing for decades, the forced and unplanned exodus to remote work has presented many challenges and opportunities.Â
Most organizations that converted or adopted remote work put most of their effort into maintaining production only as it relates to logistics. These efforts to continue workflow production included the implementation of technology tools like Zoom and Slack. One of the challenges we face is that time and resources have been put into file sharing, home internet speeds, monitors, and so on. We haven't had time to address and properly evolve workplace relationships in a remote environment.
