Jason Dinesen (EA, LPA) is a tax nerd, entrepreneur, tax expert and a well known presenter of continuing education courses. Jason was born and raised in Iowa and has a degree in corporate communications from Simpson College in Indianola. He has a big family that includes his wife, two sons, 5 cats and 3 dogs. Jason holds season tickets to University of Iowa football, and enjoys using his chainsaw. Topmost item in his 2022 bucket list is to learn how to properly ‘nose & taste’ whisky.

Note: I answered neutral on being relevant to my job responsibilities just because I don't prepare tax returns. I work in the bookkeeping dept; I just wanted to get a little knowledge on this topic where I would understand the basics and this course helped me do that. Enjoyed it! Thanks again! :)

He was terrific !!! His pace was just right - I will utilize the handout to fill in any gaps in my notes. His reach into the coming changes was just what I wanted to know. The summaries in the beginning were helpful for getting my footing. Thank you very, very much !

Excellent workshop! Very educational and timely. I live in a college town and approximately 10% of the returns I prepare qualify for education credits. I will be able to use information obtained to more confidently prepare such returns next tax season.

The speaker was very concise and clear, which looks like something he has worked on. Presentation was very easy to follow. Chat function worked. I also liked how you announce the polling questions and give us time to take them.

Jason is one of my favourite instructors. Information is always presented in manageable chunks and very relevant. He is truly a subject matter expert on what he presents and definitely recommend his courses.
