This CPE Course will examine several backup and export strategies to determine which is right for your needs. QuickBooks, theoretically, never needs to be backed up. But there are plenty of reasons to back up your file: a period archive, a snapshot in time, a failed import, or restoring accidentally deleted transactions. You can export lists to Excel, and there’s also a “back door” to exporting your QBO file to the Desktop. QBO Advanced has a backup tool built right in.
