Job Title: US Audit & Assurance Intern
Qualification: MBA / CMA (Pursuing or Completed)
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (IST)
Stipend: ₹15,000 per month
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated US Audit & Assurance Intern to support our team in managing US-based clients. This role provides hands-on exposure to US auditing standards, assurance processes, and financial statement analysis, along with practical experience in audit engagements and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing audit procedures in accordance with US GAAP and auditing standards.
- Support in gathering, organizing, and reviewing financial data and documents required for audit engagements.
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of audit workpapers and supporting documentation.
- Perform basic testing of transactions, balances, and internal controls under supervision.
- Assist in vouching and verification of financial records and supporting documents.
- Help reconcile financial statements and identify discrepancies or variances.
- Support audit teams in conducting substantive testing and analytical procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of audit assignments.
- Use audit and accounting tools for data analysis and reporting.
Requirements
- MBA or CMA (pursuing or completed) in Finance / Accounting.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and auditing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (basic formulas, data handling).
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Willingness to work in US shift (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM IST).
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of US auditing standards (a plus, not mandatory).
- Familiarity with audit tools or accounting software (preferred).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
