the slide "are contingent fees morally wrong?" was a great kickoff. the liberty tax case had me ROTFL. "...that's between them, God and the IRS if they're telling the truth." One of my best friends was in-house counsel at liberty tax through its most recent scandal and i was texting with her over this, sending her the slides and reliving the latest happenings, so that was an unintended benefit of ethics class -- getting in touch with old friends! the prominence of the "Everything is Ethical" and corresponding graphic on the 'Absence of Boundaries' slide feels like the state of the world right now. pretty dark. i applaud your brilliance in appealing to my personal ethics to complete the follow-up survey to the webinar: presumably you wanted thoughtful, meaningful feedback and not a simple five-star rating with a blank box? either way, i hope this review finds you well. thanks for the free ethics CPE!

Gave real world scenarios, showing the complexity and "greys" that can come into play when presented with decisions that involve ethics. Also didn't make everything ethical. Was very clear about drawing a line between what is a violation of ethical standards vs maybe a moral standard - and when the "risk zone" is hit that should be avoided.

The presenter gives some unique perspectives on professional & personal ethics as well as what motivates us to follow standards. I thought it was an excellent presentation & a little bit different take on the subject that I had not heard 1,000 times before.

Great to see actual ethics taught in an accounting ethics course. So much better than those glib explanations of how to not break or the law, or even worse, explanations on how not to get caught. thanks for putting together a solid program, MyCPE!

The video and the questions for the final quiz were not for the same thing. I watched a video about the idea of how to decide ethics and was quized on the details of the AICPA code of conduct which was only mentioned in general terms in the video.
