Demi has over 10 yrs experience in Audit & Assurance, Audit Transformation, and Change management. She is the founder of Zodem Consulting; a financial consulting firm that provides bookkeeping, accounting, business planning, financial education & fractional CFO Services to SMEs.
Prior to this, Demi worked with Deloitte UK & led audit teams for a varied portfolio of clients across multiple industries. She later moved to Romania to set up a new center of excellence where she led the delivery of offshore audits and took on the responsibilities of the learning lead for multiple European firms.
She moved to Canada in 2019 and continued her journey in Audit transformation & Change management for the global firm; leading the deployment & adoption of new audit software, managing stakeholders, facilitating training & performing independent audit reviews.
Demi is passionate about learning & development. This has been demonstrated by her enthusiasm for learning delivery for both technical and nontechnical accounting subjects.
Demi enjoys spending time with her partner and their ‘wonder toddler’, traveling & helping new immigrants settle in the community.
