The Fair Labor Standards Act is the granddaddy of all payroll laws. Enacted in 1938, it provides basic protections from abuses like failure to pay a minimum wage and overtime pay. The CPE presentation and materials were very good overall. I did notice that many of the slides referred to information from years prior to 2021. I believe that most, if not all, of the material was still up-to-date, but not certain.
