CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR NEBRASKA CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUTANTS (CPA)

NEBRASKA (NE) CPA CPE REQUIREMENT OVERVIEW

CPE Requirements
80 hours every two-years
License Renewal Period
January 1 to December 31, Biennially
CPE Reporting Cycle
January 31, Annually
Ethics Requirement
Four (4) hours every two years.
Carry Over Credits
Nebraska CPA cannot carry forward credits in the next reporting cycle
Subject Area Restriction
Nebraska CPA can complete a maximum of 16 hours of personal development courses

Nebraska CPA requires 80 hours of CPE to be completed in every renewal period and must be reported to the Board by January 31 biennially as part of the renewal process

Nebraska State Board of Accountancy has a mandatory requirement that Nebraska (NE) CPA has to earn at least 4 hours of CPE in the subject area of ethics.
