While many employers have anti-harassment policies in place and comply with training requirements, there has still not been a societal shift which has rendered all workplaces free from behaviors and speech that exemplifies harassment. In addition, many employers do not have appropriate policies and procedures in place which adequately address the behavior as it arises.
