Steven was knowledgeable and thorough in his information about the product and what is offered. He was empathetic to my situation. He went above and beyond answering all of my many questions. Excellent service!
Great service and very patient as I asked several questions. Steven answered all my questions and helped me make the right decision in my subscription purchase. Thank you.
It is what it advertised to be. Professional quality training and CPE tracking and certificates; systems knows AZ CPA CPE requirements and categories. I've needed help on several occasions and the assistance was quick and effective; however, there were some problems with data entry. The assistance sometimes asks for input, but when I try to type it is dissallowed for some reason. On several occasions I had to close the popup to get it out of my way.
Great customer service. Classes are pertinent. Great value

Almost all businesses use some sort of employment law. Employment law is the area of law that governs the employer-employee relationship. Therefore, if the business has more than one employee, then the business likely uses employment law. This area consists of both state and federal laws and includes many different subjects with the common goal to protect workers' rights. For employees, these laws work to:
Just one well-known example is Title VII. This is a federal statute included as a part of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This famous law prohibits employment discrimination based on a person's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. This means that these aspects can't legally be considered when hiring, firing, promoting, compensating, or in any other aspect of employment.
Another well-known example is the Fair Labor Standards Act or FLSA. This crucial piece of federal legislation was enacted during the Great Depression when workers often suffered long hours, harsh conditions, and unjust pay. The FLSA established federal minimum hourly wage and child labor laws for certain industries. When the FLSA was enacted in 1938, the minimum hourly wage was only $0.25. In 2020, the federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour. Many states, however, have higher minimum wages than that set by the FLSA. Some state-mandated minimum wages are as high as $13.50 per hour (such as in Washington).

This year includes the Biden presidency and changes with EEOC, DOL, NLRB, etc. In this online CPE course, topics will range from discrimination and harassment to retaliation and wage claims. This is what is happening right now to employers!

I loved the Q & A session. The presenter was very clear in his communications. While the session was a large part review for me, the examples made it relevant.
