This CPE course offers an introduction to General Standards of Ethical Rules and Independence Interpretations for the CPA. This ethics CPE course is for Missouri CPAs that takes a deeper dive into the concepts of integrity and objectivity from an ethical perspective and recognizes the need for interpretations in different scenarios as the board guidelines are non-specific.
These rules and Interpretations are referred from pronouncements of the AICPA Code of Professional conduct that is the standard for all the CPAs.

Jason Dinesen (EA, LPA) is a tax nerd, entrepreneur, tax expert and a well known presenter of continuing education courses. Jason was born and raised in Iowa and has a degree in corporate communications from Simpson College in Indianola. He has a big family that includes his wife, two sons, 5 cats and 3 dogs. Jason holds season tickets to University of Iowa football, and enjoys using his chainsaw. Topmost item in his 2022 bucket list is to learn how to properly ‘nose & taste’ whisky.
