Course Description

That one column printed on a separate sheet of paper, blank sheets coming out of the printer, the time wasted in trying to get your data printed neatly. Do you recognize these problems?

In this Online CPE webinar, join Excel expert David H. Ringstrom, CPA as he will help you learn all you need to know about the page layout in Excel (adding titles, page numbers, a logo, using a template), and how to prepare your document for printing.

It’s easy to prepare documents for printing once you learn how to implement a variety of Excel features and techniques. Excel expert David Ringstrom, CPA, demonstrates a Step-by-step approach to enable a full-screen print preview, through this CPE session, you will learn to use Excel’s Custom Views feature to apply different print settings, pick and choose worksheets you want to print, and more. David’s tips will help you work faster and more efficiently when laying out and printing your Excel documents.

Major topics covered in this Online Excel CPE Webinar:

  • What are the nuances of page breaks within Excel worksheets?
  • How to deal with annoying changes to Print Preview in Word 2010 and later.
  • How to print a list of all cell comments on a worksheet or printing visible comments.
  • How to print any aspect of a worksheet selectively.
  • How to print only an Excel chart from a worksheet.
  • How to restore “classic” Print Preview functionality in Excel 2010 and later.
  • How to streamline repetitive printing tasks by adding Quick Print to the Quick Access Toolbar.
  • In the Q&A session, you will be able to ask questions and queries, and Excel expert David Ringstrom, CPA will be helping all the attendees.

David's effective "show-twice" process first walks you through a procedure by way of detailed PowerPoint slides and then demonstrates the techniques first-hand in the Office 365 version of Excel. David draws your attention to any differences in the older versions of Excel (2019, 2016, 2013, and earlier) during the presentation as well as in his detailed handouts. David also provides an Excel workbook that includes most of the examples he uses during the webcast.

Microsoft 365 is a subscription-based product that provides new feature updates as often as monthly. Conversely, the perpetual licensed versions of Excel have feature sets that don't change. Perpetual licensed versions have year numbers, such as Excel 2019, Excel 2016, and so on.

Pretty Good - First On demand, so I wasn't (and still not comfortable with all the instructions and I'm not sure if I did everything correctly). 1 point is that I don't think my version of EXCEL backs up the same way as describes (it backs-up automatically to our 1 drive. Still after 20yrs using EXCEL I learned a few very good tricks
