JW

Interesting presentation on DO ROTH CONVERSIONS PAY?

AB

Great course!

LP

Excellent!! Would love to see more on this topic, speaker was phenomenal. If I had an economics teacher like that a million years ago maybe I would not be an accountant hahaha

JS

I had a very hard time keeping up with this instructor, he started to tell something, never finished the statement and would start talking about something else.

HL

Very insightful. Would recommend this program to my Colleagues.

RB

Great topic

RJ

Super awesome presenter. I was having a conversation last weekend about this topic with friend who has an economics degree.

CH

good

JR

Interesting program

AN

The software the instructor walked through was great!

MV

The class focused around software the instructor uses and it is not used by all

NR

some good info but i dont like the pushing of expensive software

MK

Instructor was very nice and willing to take extra questions.

LS

Interesting to understand the principles behind the tool that is the basis of the presentation.

RL

The only problem I had was I could not download the link for the materials. I tried several times to copy and past the link form the chat screen but it would not work.

KJ

good

MG

well spoken, basic idea presentation.

LS

Content is more relevant to me personally as opposed to my job responsibilities. I found it informative and helpful.

WWMN

Thank You

RS

The overall experience was good.

WWMN

Thank you

LS

I knew content was not relevant to my job when I registered. Interest was mostly personal in addition to getting the CPE credit.

FC

Very slow and drawn out, too academic.

LM

Difficult to follow instructor and complex concepts. Examples were helpful, as well as software demo but not enough time for explanations.

MG

A very short class on Roth IRA introduction. The other half was an infomercial.

NC

Very applicable

BB

Minimal knowledge and skills were taught; it was more of an extended sales program for a black-box type software.

JR

presentation was mostly based on a software package. i hope updated handout will include screen shots

CC

We might've glossed over it or something, but I didn't think the question "Do Roth Conversions Pay?" was really answered or explained enough with the scenarios. The online application shown during the presentation seems interesting and I would love to give it a try, but frankly, I don't think the presenter did it good justice in showing how user friendly it is. I think I got a fundamental understanding of its capabilities, but just seemed the presenter was all over the place. I researched their website and found that the short video demos therein, do a better job at explaining the optimal capabilities of the tool.

PWF

Clearly the program was enjoyed by a number of participants, but it was not the perspective I was expecting. I thought maybe there would be some get Mitt Romney rich with Roth IRA strategies. But I thank you for the one credit, and I surely will keep coming back.

JR

The examples were helpful, but I didn't realize how much the planning element of this webinar would rely on the software.

KH

The material was very important and relevant, but I found a lot of it to be confusing.

AT

The presenter was intelligent but was unable to easily share the data in the time allotted. He talked during the polling questions making it difficult to concentrate.

WW

I wasn't aware of the content. After about 15 minutes, I did realize that the information was helpful to me personally. However, I doubt that I will be using this information for any of my clients.

TW

He ended by saying Economic is a different angle and something people should pay attention to. That point should have also been his starting point also. I have a minor in Economics, may years ago. This webinar (again) made me glad I majored in Accounting.

RB

Presentation could use some more preparation ahead of time.

JR

Laurence is obviously a very bright man. Unfortunately I think the presentation should be improved by refining what the object of the learning is; perhaps a compare and contrast between traditional financial planning and economics based financial planning. Ditch the formulas -- we're a bunch of CPAs and we trust that you have support for the math / results. Polling questions were haphazardly placed, bunched together and not well written.

TZ

It was a sales pitch. Or he doesn't understand that there are other ways to smooth consumption and optimize spending.

AC

Not impressed, seems like the software might be useful but I think relying on the software made it difficult as a webinar and it seemed like doing it live detracted rather than added value.

KF

This was not what I expected and really did not help

MG

Course was too long for content.

MW

This was the worse presentation I have attended. The instructor was unfocused and very difficult to follow. The topic was very relevant to my job and I was extremely disappointed in the webinar. I have had so many excellent instructors over the time that having a poor experience is very rare.

EW

Instructor rambled and it was difficult to follow. not well organized. I could not follow his thought process. the monotone voice made it even more difficult.

RB

This was by far the worst webinar I've attended. It was a sales commercial.

WC

Based on the information I thought would be presented, this course failed. I would estimate that 5% of the time addressed the intended topic. Otherwise, it seemed to be an advertisement for the instructor's software. Very disappointing.

NR

This instructor was very biased. Stated several times that financial advisors are only looking to make money. His assumptions were so different from the industry standards. He recommended ONLY Tips for a 5 Million IRA at age 62, As an lEA who recently retired from the financial world the current view to have 3-5 years of very conservative money and then the remainder in the stock market. He also total ignored annuities with have 4-6% lifetime income guarantee. A tax presenter needs to be unbiased and present all opinions. He also ignored what I find is typically the best SS time for my clients which is full retirement age not 62 or 70 though I have had clients that those ages do work best for
