New York, NY – February 18, 2025 – Citrin Cooperman, a leading accounting and advisory firm, has announced the acquisition of substantially all assets of HW&Co., an Ohio-based accounting and advisory firm. This strategic move bolsters Citrin Cooperman's presence in the Midwest and enhances its service offerings across various industries, including healthcare, nonprofit, real estate, manufacturing and distribution, and agriculture. HW&Co. brings 14 partners and over 140 employees to the Citrin Cooperman team.

As is typical for firms operating in alternative practice structures, the transaction will consist of two acquisitions: Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC will acquire the non-attest assets, and Citrin Cooperman & Company, LLP will acquire the attest assets of HW&Co.
