A CPA is challenged in today’s work world to not only serve his/her client or employer but also to protect the public interest by ensuring that there is transparency in financial reporting or there is fair administration of tax laws. In balancing the two interests, a CPA may find him or herself in an ethical dilemma. Our CPE Ethics course for Florida CPAs aims to address these challenges head-on by exploring the complexities of ethical issues and providing accountants with vital knowledge and effective strategies for successful navigation.

This CPE Ethics course is designed to help Florida Licensees meet the requirements for ethics continuing education and will cover the following Key Topics:

  • Ethical Frameworks: Principles and values for ethical decision-making.
  • AICPA Code of Professional Conduct: Rules and standards for CPAs.
  • Florida Statutes and Administrative Rules: State-specific regulations for Florida CPAs.
  • Balancing Client and Public Interest: Navigating conflicting demands.
  • Putting Ethics into Action: Applying Ethical Principles in Practice.

With a focus on unveiling the truth behind accounting scandals, embezzlement, and fraud, our course emphasizes the importance of maintaining trust and integrity within the accounting profession. By participating in this course, Florida CPAs will gain a deeper understanding of ethical challenges and acquire the necessary tools to navigate them with confidence. MyCPE is an excellent platform for obtaining a variety of quality educational courses needed to maintain your CPA license. The flexibility of having webinar courses as well as on demand courses to meet your needs is a wonderful option given a CPA's busy schedule. The ethics course was well thought out and is a great refresher for what we should be considering when involved with every representation that we undertake. I would highly recommend anyone considering purchasing a continuing education program strongly consider MyCPE as a top choice.
