Was your latest audit finding powerful?
And did your team enjoy writing it?
Findings can be fun to write and read.
By following a few key guidelines on content and organization, you can create an audit report masterpiece your team can be proud to stand behind.
And on top of that, a logically organized audit finding sprinkled with interesting facts and including clear, feasible recommendations can be one of an auditor’s best tools for eliciting change.
Whether writing the first audit report or your one hundredth audit report, there is always room to improve.
The quality of that report will have an impact on how well the report is understood and accepted. Even a report with the best information and recommendations may not be acted upon if the report is poorly written and hard to understand.
Poor quality reports can result in misunderstandings and poor decisions.
This CPE Auditing course will discuss how you can write an audit report that lands in the right lap and gets the attention and follow-up it deserves.
In this CPE webinar speaker, Denise Cicchella will also talk about tips to understand your readers and how to customize the report for them. There will be a bonus section for the trends toward PowerPoint reporting of audit findings.

I thought it was a good program with relevant and useful information. It's ironic to view a presentation on writing audit reports when the slides were filled with typos.
