Course Description
Most leaders understand that truly living organizational values is an important element of a high-performance culture. For this reason, 90% of organizations have defined a set of organizational values.
Unfortunately, our research shows that while many organizations publish their values on their website or signs around the office, the values are not prevalent in daily life. A further complication is that organizations typically have no idea whether they have created a set of values that resonate with employees.Â
Truly living a set of meaningful core values is fundamental to having a high-performance culture - a culture in which we achieve critical goals while having a great human experience of work.
Core Values are an essential set of guiding characteristics that are discovered. They define who you are at your core and help to drive the culture of your organization and, most importantly, ensure that EVERY person in our organization is the Right Person and that they consistently exhibit our values.
The fact that so many organizations fall short of the mark presents an incredible opportunity from a leadership and organizational development perspective.Â
As a leader within your organization, you cannot forget that YOU are the model of behavior for the rest of your employees. Everyone in the organization will look to you to see how to behave, how to communicate, how to hold themselves accountable, etc. You must be consistently making decisions and behaving in a way that is representative of your core values.
