Teams are the way organizations things get done. This requires teams to be on the same page. Every team constitutes a particular combination of personality types. With these comes different ways of processing information, conveying information, and agreement. To take the team forward on the right path, the agreement is required on the critical issues. Just like an orchestra tunes up before a performance, or an athlete warms up before a practice, tuning the team helps get everyone on the same page.
In this online CPE webinar, participants will learn how to get their teams to an agreement on issues that will allow them to complete the work projects they are responsible for and contribute to the success of their organization. Participants will learn all that is involved in the making of a team with all its members. Those attending the online webinar will learn the various decision-making models available to them and how to make ethical decisions while seeking to reach a consensus. In this Free CPE course, attendees will learn ways teams can use consensus as a means to make effective decisions. Various consensus-building techniques will be introduced and possible barriers to reaching consensus and how to overcome them. Participants will also learn when to use consensus-building as a decision-making technique and when not to.
